Otakon is always a fun adventure and a sweaty mess. Here are the Highlights: Crunchyroll, Avatar everywhere, New friends, Heat Exhaustion, and Good Food. Thursday - Friday Myself and SailorBee @ Crunchyroll booth The drive to Baltimore is always long especially when you have to wake up at 4am and it lasts for 10 hours. Thursday was spent settling down, getting our badges, and hanging out with my roomies: Iridescent Fall, Thornrose, Zacloudseth and Ferg. Below is a gallery of my Korra adventures on Friday. On Friday I was one of the dozens of Korras that attended the con. It was the first time I did the costume with my real hair. I dyed, straightened, and trim it a few days earlier. I switched it up later in the day by wearing her winter jacket. I helped out at the Crunchyroll panel and later at their booth since I am one of their ambassadors. It was a pleasure meeting SailorBee, she is a cosplayer and the head of the Ambassador program. The rest of the day was spent browsing the dealer's room, artist alley and getting food. I highly recommend the nearby Kona Grill. Saturday I started of the day with a Korra photoshoot by the large outdoor water fountains with Eleventh Photograph. I can't wait to see the shots of my Season 2 Korra with my real hair. Although the humidity was not forgiving. I went to lunch with Courtoon, Solo-dono, CKDecember and Eleventh Photograph. The rest of the afternoon was spent with Zacloudseth who was dressed as Mako. He's dat Mako. Our Korra team didn't last long because I'm certain I had heat exhaustion so I took off my costume soon after. After recovering I had a nice dinner at P.F. Changs, and spent the rest of the night going to room parties, seeing magic tricks and getting midnight ice cream with Bear Kid's director Chris. Sunday Iridescent Fall as Link Most of the day was spent helping out at the Crunchyroll booth handing out wristbands and chatting with SailorBee in my Karako Nurse costume. Then I was on the hunt for gift for my nephew before the con closed. For dinner the group went out to five guys, where I got chat with the talented Anna Fischer. I look forward to working with her in the future.
