Karako (Nurse Version) - Deadman Wonderland

Description:
A last minute costume that I made for G-Anime 2012 because I wanted something new to wear.
I happened to have a pattern for a nurse costume in an old issue of Cosmode to make this.
This was my first costume made from a sewing pattern ever.
I took some artistic liberties with this costume. Her shoes are supposed to have plain thick strapped sandals but I opted for red pumps. I also gave her painted nails, eyeshadow and pink lips. So she's more glamorous than usual.
The costume is entirely made of cotton. The outer is baby pink and lining is peach. I used some interfacing in the collar, hat, and belt.
I made fabric covered buttons to match the outfit. The pendant is sculpey on a faux swede string.
