A sneak peek at Karako Nurse vers.
G-Anime was a very easy going convention. I didn't have any big costume plans, nor did I participate in the masquerade, so this will be a short entry. I rushed to finish up my Karako Nurse costume. I had all the pattern cut out and I finished it on Friday, the first day of the convention. I did not attend the first day, because I was sewing. Saturday I spent Saturday going to panels that my friends/cosplay guests were hosting. I watched a bit of VickyBunnyAngel's posing panel and the cosplay guest Q&A which also included my buddy Kudrel. I had some interesting conversation about the current state of Canadian cosplay and where it is going. I look forward to seeing that develop in the conventions I attend in the future. Sorry if this sounds cryptic, but we covered a lot of topics. Later on we checked out the masquerade which had some great costumes and some very entertaining skits. There was some good variety too from Aladdin to Team Fortress to Tsubasa Chronicles. Then my friends and I went out for some yummy sushi for dinner! Sunday I went casual for the day, although I still wore a wig. I spent the most of my day hanging out at VickyBunnyAngel and Kudrel's booths. I said my hellos and goodbyes then called it a day. Here are some costumes that caught my eye over the weekend. Most of these were taken on Sunday.
