Anime North 2025 - Toronto, ON Yeticon 2025 - Collinwood, ON Description: Bodysuit: I used a Kwik sew 3502 bodysuit pattern as a starting off point and modified the armholes. I also made it backless and added snaps behind the neck. At the hip, I made shiny straps out of stiff holographic vinyl from Cosplay fabrics. The button were made by sculpting the shape with clay over top of a similar size button then casting them out of foam clay after creating a press mold. Button backs were embedded in the foam clay so they can be sewed on. Arm bands and Boot covers: These were made using matte superpreme from Cosplay fabrics. I cut some flip flops to the shape of my feet then got a friend to make a duct tape patter of my leg. Using that pattern I made the boot covers. The boot covers lip on and have an elastic at the top, however, I plan on stitching them into tights eventually, to help them to stay up. Dress: The dress is made with an orange jersey material I bought from Mood. I used the same Kwik Sew pattern as a starting off point, elongated it to make a dress, added short sleeves and added a v-neck collar. Wig: I bought it from Ali Express and did some minor styling for the flipped bangs. |
