Why this costume?
I wanted to do some more experimenting with mesh tops and fancy appliques so I made a pair or Eevelutions, including Umbreon.
Description:
Headpiece: I bought a halo crown from Aliexpress and decorated it with beads and wire. [See WIP photos/videos above or on Tiktok]. The flowers are attached to floral wire then wrapped around the ears.
Wig is from AliExpress store Freedom.
Ears: The ears are made with dense foam that was cut and dremeled into shape. They were painted with white gesso then acrylic paint. A wire was inserted into the bottom then wrapped and glued to a white headband.
Top and Bottoms: I used a stretch mesh and hand stitched an applique from Aliexpress. I painted it to match Sylveon's colour scheme, then added a lot of embellishments to the applique to make it more vibrant and multidimensional. The skirt is made with organza, They are gathered at the top using a wide satin ribbon. A large bow was made using wired organza ribbon with an iridescent trim. The embellished fishnets are aslo from Aliexpress.
