Description: Check out the W.I.P. gallery for many progress images.
Wig: I used a Jane, provided by Arda Wigs, fresh out of the bag with no styling.
Headpieces: The headpieces are all mounted on the headband covered in a thermoplastic. The base includes two PVC pipe connectors that the antlers connect to, so that they are easily removable. At a base of the antlers is a small piece of pipe, while the rest of the antlers are made of foam and thermal plastics. The tips are adorned with gold leafing. The brown antlers have little hidden stubs (taken from the fake flower stems) so that different seasonal flowers can be placed on them. At the center of the headband are two wooden dowels that acts as an anchor for the floral headpieces. The floral crowns were made by connecting fake flowers with floral wire and connecting them to a foam ball base. The spring flowers were custom died, all other flowers come straight from Michael’s.
TOPS:
Corset: the corset that was made using your Yaya Han's cupped corset pattern. The lining is made with twill, while the outer layer is made with faux swede.
Spring top: I used skintone mesh as a base then hand applied many fake flowers with beads as pollen. I also used 3d lace flowers appliques.
CAPES:
Winter Cape: You can find a tutorial of how it’s made on Fabricville’s blog. The collar is made with fox fur.
Spring Cape: It is made of pink organza that was airbrushed with a hot pink gradient. It is held on with ribbon that runs through a channel in the fabric then is tied behind the back.
SKIRTS:
Winter skirt: the base layer is satin with multiple layers of organza and it tulle over top. Between the layers, I added snowflake sequins and iron-on appliques.
Brown Organza Spring/Summer skirt: It has a base layer of a full circle skirt in chocolate brown taffeta. Layers of various half and full circle skirt panels were gathered together, plus gathered fabric layers were combined together to add even more fullness to the skirt. I finished the edges with a tight zig-zag stitch cutting off any excess.
Spring Train: Pink organza is gathered over a ribbon belt and tied at the waist. Flowers her hand stitched onto the skirt with little beads (pearls, seed beads, and crystals) as pollen. Fake wisteria flowers are stitches to the side of the skirt.
