Why this costume?
Who wouldn't want to be the baddest character with the best fashion sense in the whole show?
Description:
Wig: I got a pink wig with black roots from Aliexpress. I added a darker pink by using Tintex fabric dye. I curled the hell out of this wig with a mix of BBQ skewers and straws using hot steam.
Top: I don't recall which pattern I used as a starting point (it might the same as the jacket),
Jacket: I used Yaya's/McCall's 7373 pattern as a start point. The outer layer is black cotton twill and the inner layer is a synthetic textured (bouclé?) pink fabric which I also used to make the wings for her other costume. I added a lot of seam allowance to use make double felled seams and at the bottom I cut some spikes out of holographic black vinyl which were glued on with contact cement and fabric clips to hold them in place. I added sleeves with a slight puff then added the vinyl cuffs.
Boots: These are a carry over from my other Drolta cosplay. Construction details including video can be found on that costume's page.
The tights were a pair I bought from Ardene's ages ago.
